Daily access permits for prairie dog can be purchased now for any day between March 17 and 31st 2023. Access is only permitted for the grasslands of the Aubrey Valley area.

Hunter Access Permit Fees have been updated for the 2023 – 2027 Hunt seasons as part of a new extended 5 year access agreement with the AZGFD. More information about 2023 permit sales will be posted here when available.

2023 Permit Fee Schedule

The Ranch will open the first Friday of August 2022 for scouting to those who purchase 2022 Ranch access permits (per the 2022 Ranch rules).

Ranch access permits for elk, antelope and deer will be available online only thru this website beginning the last week of July 2022.

For the December Rifle deer season the Ranch will allow tag holders the opportunity to purchase an access pass and Hunt the first 10 days of the season (Dec 9 -18) after Dec 18 the Ranch will close to all access for the winter.

Archery Deer Note: unit 10 is now subject to harvest limits for archery deer. If AZGFD harvest limit is not met in August/Sept the Ranch will allow the purchase of OTC deer access permits for the first 10 days ( Dec 9 -18) of the December season or until the OTC deer Harvest limit is met whichever comes sooner. After Dec 18 the Ranch is closed for the winter to all recreational access.

Big game Ranch access permits for elk, antelope and deer etc. are now available to purchase online for the 2021 season. Scouting access to those who purchase Ranch permits will open the first Friday of August 2021.

The Ranch is currently closed after December 17, 2020 for the winter to any recreational access this includes shed antler hunting and scouting etc…… The Ranch will be closed between December 18, 2020 and August 5, 2021 to hunting access per the Ranch rules.

The Ranch may sell Prairie dog access permits for dates between March 15 and 31, 2021 depending on a variety of conditions at that time.

Big game access permits for elk, antelope, deer and bighorn sheep are scheduled to be available to purchase online by July 27, 2020. Please read the Ranch rules for more information.

The Ranch will be closed to recreational access beginning December 20, 2019 for the winter & spring months. It will remain closed to hunting/scouting access until August 7, 2020. The only exception will be for daily Prairie dog permitted access March 18 – 31, 2020. Ranch access permits will be available for sale online only beginning in late July 2020 to those who draw 2020 big game permits for unit 10.

2019 Permits sales are now available online thru the website. The Ranch opens for scouting on August 2nd to those that have purchased permits.

Guide access permits are available by requesting an application by email from the Hunt manager.

Big game access permits for elk, antelope, deer and also prairie dog hunting will be available to purchase online by July 23, 2018. 

The ranch opens August 3, 2018 to big game permit holders for scouting and Prairie dog hunting to those that have purchased a valid Ranch access permit.

Guide permit applications will be available thru email or mail request from the hunt manager after July 1st 2018. Guides are encouraged to get their application in early and well ahead of when they are requesting access. There is a process we go thru to verify guide applications, payment clear and liability insurance etc. to issue a permit.
